Terry Rex is a young archeologist’s best friend! Terry Rex is a toy for children ages 3+. He comes with six purple eggs, each with a different baby dinosaur in it. Feed Terry the closed egg, and watch his belly and spine light up. The egg comes out of the belly hatched and Terry will burp, roar or tell you to feed him more.
Sketches
Initial concept sketches were done to determine which dinosaurs would be our heroes, playability, and cuteness.
Process
From sketch to prototype, the process started with making a wood pattern, then transferring it to plastic.
This process involved traditional model making as well as implementing modern 3D printing technology.
CAD
3D models were made using Solidworks to determine the manufacturing parts for production.
